Erin Kirk is a New York born tattoo artist who is currently working in the Snakebite Tattoo & Piercing Studio in Dublin City Centre. She served her apprenticeship in Dublin with tattoo artist John Deegan and in addition to her apprenticeship, Erin has 12 years of experience as a graffiti writer under her belt, and she also holds a four year Bachelor of Arts in Fine Art from the Dublin Institute of Technology. Deriving a deep calm and satisfaction from drawing and sketching up a custom design to a brief makes Erin as happy as a clam. She believes a successful tattoo starts with a carefully considered and drafted line drawing, and that one cannot spend too much time choosing the correct design.
