Ian Flynn - a multi award winning artist working at JMD's. I've been tattooing since 1998 and always had a love and fascination with art. I was always drawing & sketching as a kid and I showed some of it to Joe Myler after hearing he was looking for an apprentice. I was lucky to be taken under the wing of one of the most highly regarded artists in the tattoo world. I've become an accomplished artist, winning awards at Irish and international conventions. I enjoy all styles of tattooing, although colour work is what I love. I draw my inspiration from modern fantasy and digital art and also from traditional works. I'm delighted to be involved in an art form that's finally getting the recognition it deserves and I'm encouraged by people becoming more adventurous and open minded with their ideas and creativity.
